Before out trip to the Hamptons, my mom warned me that I would heavily fall in love with the lifestyle. And boy was she right!

We just sadly returned back to Atlanta from our nice and long fourth of July weekend where we made such fun memories with my best friend from college and her boyfriend.

Although my mom's side of the family is from New York and I have visited Long Island a lot growing up, I've never been to the Hamptons! It was really high on our list of places to go and I was so happy we had the opportunity.

I've decided it would be easiest to share our whole vacation in one nice-n-long post. So bare with me if you want full outfit details from each day and a brief highlight of our visits up there!

DAY ONE

Our first full day in Southhampton was gloomy (I swear clouds are magnetic to me and my husband). So, we decided to utilize our day and explore the town and shop.

Southhampton (and all other parts of the Hamptons, really) has all the shopping you could dream! From Club Monaco to Bandier (which we don't have in the south, so you can bet I went in). Not sure if it was just because it was a holiday weekend, but every place served rosé when we walked in, which made the guys complain a little less. And that's always nice.

A lot of you might also know ... I LOVE Interior Design so, I couldn't have been more excited when I saw a One Kings Land pop-up shop! This was their first physical location and they said it is doing so well they might actually keep it there! Fingers crossed because I will be making special trips to Southhampton to go... that's how good it was in there!

We stopped by Clamman to have our first ever Lobster roll. I'm not sure where my husband and I have been and why we have never had one, but we are such foodies so we felt so left out! It was just as delicious as it sounds and this place was super fresh. Loved it.

We topped of the day at a very romantic dinner on the water at East Hampton Point (not pictured, sorry!) It was delicious...everything we ordered was fantastic and it was the fastest service of our lives. lol

I'm going to throw it out there and call myself a cookie monster so stopping by the Original Tate's bake shop was a must-do for me. Tate's are my favorite cookies to buy in the grocery store and it was so cool to go the location where it all started.

Sun was out. Which resulted in me laying by the pool at 10am. We followed the pool with a fun trip to the beach.

We threw the football with the boys for a solid amount of time and, I swear to you, my arm hurts as I am typing this I guess I tried a little too hard to be good haha.

We went out that night with some friends out in East Hampton at a bar called Stephen Talkhouse. It was quite the night and  minimal pictures were taken in the bar clearly.

DAY THREE

On the 4th we met up with my cousin and her kids in Sagharbor where they now live! We dined for lunch at Le Bilboquet for four hours (because we didn't want to leave and the view where we sat outside on the harbor was amazing). The wine was flowing nonstop and life was good!

We explored Sagharbor a little bit and I fell in love. I loved the hip, coastal vibes there and the streets were beautiful. Not to mention, we could look at those boats on the harbor all day... Gordon was mesmerized, as was I.

We were feeling tired that night so we had a casual dinner at Townline BBQ (great casual barbecue place!) I mean, what is more American than good ole' BBQ ?! Some Star Wars and Carvel soft-served ice cream put us right to sleep.

DAY FOUR

Our last day! We were so sad but we made the most of it and got dressed up to go to Wolffer Estate Vineyard. We bought a bottle of their Summer in a Bottle (because it's a gorgeous bottle so why not).

We sampled a couple of their wines and, I have to say, the oak was our favorite. I really recommend getting lunch and spending the afternoon at Wolffer whenever you visit!

Although I'm not an expert or native of the Hamptons, it is still so much fun to share the things we did that made our trip great! And even though the formula to a great trip is 99% amazing company, some great meals and places to see doesn't hurt! Happy Birthday America...you're the best!
