Georgia did a very poor job yesterday of celebrating the first day of summer with its constant gloom and rain. A very, very poor job. 

 I definitely have a mild case of seasonal affective disorder (who doesn't?!) when the sun is taken away from me for too long. I think the sun has come out for TWO days since we have been back from Italy. So you can only imagine how much more difficult this made our withdrawal process, ha. But the good news is, we are heading to Florida today to visit my family to get that vitamin SEA ( I know this pun is probably getting old, lol whatever) and sunshine. 

 Anyway, I still celebrated summer with my look yesterday. Because HEY, if the sun ain't going to shine, it's not stopping me;)

I LOVE bringing out an element of an outfit with my earrings. These All Things Mochi earrings, which are not heavy despite the illusion, went perfectly with my all white Majorelle dress. 











When an outfit is lacking contrast, I love adding a pop in my shoes. These Sam Edelman heels are my favorite shoes for this season.



This is what I love about fashion. A good outfit can make a bleh day... not so bleh. And unlike a lot of things in life, however you chose to walk out the door before you take on the day, is ALL in your control.
